Okay, so I am new to this whole DeviantART website thanks to my friend and bandmate Miranda aka (ILoveJoeTrohman).

I am usually on Myspace, Myyearbook, and Xanga (www.Xanga.com/Stebbins_Chick_08). I also have a Quizilla but I don't have any creations on there.

So as far as a little more about me:

My name is Melanie,
I am not the best thing you've probably seen and I hope I am not the worst either,
I am straight edge (judge me for it, I don't care),
I am easily ammused,
I play bass,
I am in an all girl band with my two friends Ashley and Miranda but we are still in the beginning stages,
I hate disappointing people,
I love making people smile,
I am pretty much a tomboy,
I am a proud dork,
The only way I will do what everyone else is doing is if I like to do it. (Meaning: I don't follow trends and the 'cool' thing to do just because they are the 'cool' thing to do. If you catch me doing something a lot of other people do it's because I like to do it and not because I want to be 'cool'. I am a dork and I am proud of that.)
I am real. I may not be original but as least I am myself .
I think normal people are boring,
I am shy at first when meeting new people,
Once I get to know you I talk a lot,
I am a HUGE Fall Out Boy fan (and not just because of their hit songs. I'll admit, I first heard of them through 'Sugar, We're Goin Down' and 'Dance Dance' but after buying From Under The Cork Tree I bought their older stuff and happen to like that just as much if not better),
I also like Panic! At The Disco,
I am a fan of the all girl band The Donnas
I love experimenting with eye makeup,
If I love/dislike a band it's because I love/dislike their music. Not because their members are 'hot' or they have a good song everyone knows.
I am in love with my eyeliner pencil and we are going to get married (not really getting married but I use eyeliner almost everyday),
I am a sucker for brown eyed boys,
Almost everyone loves my personality,
I help out anyone I can,
I am a kind person,
My eye color is really blue but it changes to gray and light green as well,
I can't see well without my glasses so they are NOT a fashion statement they are a necessity. (I won't be getting rid of them anytime soon either because I can't see without them and contacts bug my eyes),
I have the most amazing friends,
I have the coolest parents,
I love making movies with friends,
I live through music,
I am a music enthusiast. I listen to all kinds of music from hip hop to metal,
I am a really big 80's music buff considering I grew up listening to 80's rock,
I am random (not completely random but random all the same),
I don't spell everything right 100% of the time (I am not perfect),
I don't like people who act like they are better than everyone else,
I have come to realize that even the best make mistakes,
I have also come to realize that no matter where you go and what you do in life there is always someone who is going to hate you or what you do.
So I let everything roll off my shoulders and try to enjoy life because I know whose opinion truly matters and whose don't.
